A Rough Guide

Please note these healing times are an approximation only based upon the average healing times experienced by most clients. The rate at which your piercing may heal is affected by a variety of factors – it is nothing to be concerned about if your piercing heals much faster or slower than this guide.

Most piercings are initially healed in the first 2-3 weeks but will need longer to fully heal.

Children's Piercing

ID must be shown for everyone getting a piercing and children MUST be 5+ years old.

A parent must also show ID before the appointment.

Please make sure to bring these with you to your appointment!

Stress-free appointments

After your child's first appointment, we offer certificates for them to keep to remember how brave they were!

During the appointment, sweets will be available along with stress toys and a teddy to help take their mind off the piercing.

If there is anything you believe would be best to let us know before your child's appointment, don't hesitate to message!

Age and Consent

ID must be shown for everyone getting a piercing and if under 18 years old, a parent must also show ID before the appointment.

Please make sure to bring these with you to your appointment!

Age Requirements:

Lobes

All children must be 8 years and older to get lobe piercings.

They must be able to consent to getting them done, as well as ask us to get it done when in the piercing room.

If your child decides not to go through with it at any point, we reserve the right to end the appointment and politely ask you to come back another time.

Cartilage

Ear Cartilage piercing are 14 years and up, as well as nose piercings.

Body and Facial

Piercings such as navels and lip piercings are 14+. Tongues and eyebrows however are 16+.

Larger Gauges

Nipples, surface piercings, dermals, cheeks and large gauge piercing are 18+. Parental consent is not required once 18, but we will need to see valid photo I.D and a consent form will still need to be filled out.
