About Me
Get to know me, find out my experience and certificates here!
I joined NEW IMAGE on the 15th of May in 2021, following the then current piercers around with my notebook, taking detailed notes on what equipment they used for each piercing and techniques for a smoother and gentle practice. I then began practicing what I learnt on family, then friends and started special offers and half price deals to build up a portfolio, letting all customers know I was just starting out.
Since becoming a piercer, one of my main concerns is the amount of people that have insecurities and this has encouraged me to create the most comfortable and safe environment I can for everyone no matter what insecurities you have. After all, they just make up who you are!
To make things easier and to have a better overall experience, I have hair bands, clips, stress balls and teddies available. Sweets, fizzy drinks and water are there for all sessions too!

Detailed information will be given out to customers for before and after all appointments as well as customisation options depending on their unique anatomy or just to get a unique look.

I also offer Tattoo Laser Removal sessions for anyone looking to lighten (for a cover-up tattoo) or get rid of their current tattoo that they are dying to pretend never happened!

I began my apprenticeship at New Image!
I got my Piercing and Tattoo Laser Removal Licence in 2022.
I took a trip down to Slack Alice - S.A.P.A.'s piercing Academy and learnt new techniques on how to pierce, as well as hygiene and a blood borne pathogen course. I passed with full marks on the written test and got to pierce alongside the teacher. I then received three certificates: body piercing, dermal piercing and blood pathogens.

I travelled down to Manchester and did three days of classes. On day one, I learnt 'Bevel Theory', 'Getting More Creative' (Ear Curations) and 'Marking and Techniques'. The second day I did 'Navel Piercings', 'Advanced Fundamentals of Lip Piercing' and 'Wound Healing Dynamics'. Day three was 'Lumps and Bumps', 'Going Disposable' and 'Nipples: Variations and Methods'.
I really wanted to branch out on multiple subjects; some that I was either just curious about, or had heard alternative piercing methods that I wanted to try. I felt like I learnt so much and can't wait to go back next year!
I did a level 4 Core of Knowledge course for Laser, IPL and LED - hair and skin.
Way to start the year.. the laser machine broke over Christmas! I did a lot of personal research and digging around to find the perfect new machine. This was a Q-switch Picosecond laser machine and so far, AMAZING results. It took a while but we got this in February but was worth the wait.
Back to Slack Alice's I went to do a Genital Piercing Course. This was definitely something completely new for me! I did have to learn using a a new style of needle for a couple specific piercings and worked on how to access people's anatomy for each piercing.. which surprisingly there's many you can get!
This got me a genital piercing certificate.
Travelling down to Scotland was a dream come true! I spent two days learning about best ways to set out jewellery displays which gave me so many ideas! I also learnt Gender affirming piercings and got an insight to genital piercings and how different anatomy can effect more than just the placements. This was a great lesson for me to stem off of the course I just went on!
Guest spotting here I come! This is something I've wanted to do since I enjoyed @jessicat_piercing (Instagram) class back in September at UKAPP. She spoke to me personally after the class and she was so kind. She made me think more about growing my name as a piercer and seeing what other studio were like. One day I would love to assist her in a class as she speaks a lot about the mental drain of being self employed and how to battle against it and come out stronger. She also did a creativity section of making your studio your own and how to have fun with ear curations, which who doesn't love!
In mid June, I will be guest spotting at @bratzlounge_ (Instagram) once a month. Their studio is the perfect mix of edgy and pretty and I love everyone's energy. I'm very excited to start doing these and hopefully more to come!
Not really learning, but an attendance is, I will be at the Comicon in Spalding soon on the 7th of September. There will be jewellery available only.. unfortunately no piercing. However I will be doing a raffle to win a piercing so keep your eyes peeled for me!
